Socio-political and cultural reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine

In our research we analyse the policies and initiatives of socio-political, cultural, and informational reintegration based on empirical research and study the problems and needs of residents in de-occupied, frontline, and temporarily occupied territories and displaced persons. We promote internal Ukrainian social dialogue, mutual understanding, and national unity.

Ukraine’s role on the international arena and in the new global security architecture

Analysis of changes in the global security architecture and transformation of international institutions and organisations caused by Russia’s war against Ukraine. We map the reactions to the Russo-Ukrainian war in different countries and advocate  Ukraine’s position in the world.

Counteracting Russian cultural and informational influences

Identification and analysis of information, ideological and cultural mechanisms of spreading Russian influence in Ukraine and worldwide, studies of the narratives of the “Russian world” and the Russian imperial worldview; counteraction to them.

Counteracting populism

Counteracting populist rhetoric, manipulation and trivialisation of politics through educational activities and methodologically sound analysis.

Civic education and political awareness

Creation and development of educational materials and organisation of events to raise political awareness among Ukrainians and foreigners, advocating for the think-tanks at universities as a model of civic engagement among young people.
