Development of the NaUKMA campus

The School for Policy Analysis NaUKMA conducted a study to find out the needs of the Kyiv-Mohyla community regarding the development of the university campus.

The NaUKMA campus is the place where all the key buildings are located. The main goal of our research is to contribute to the campus development plan that includes: the construction of new buildings, the optimal use of existing facilities, the improvement of green areas, and exploring opportunities for campus expansion.

“For all of us who work at the School for Policy Analysis, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy is a part of our identity and an important part of our lives. Therefore, it is important for us to be involved in the life of the Mohyla community. We are pleased to have this opportunity to contribute our research to an important project for the Academy,” said Anna Osypchuk, Director for Research of the School for Policy Analysis.

In the course of the research, our analysts actively cooperated with students, teachers, and alumni of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. We conducted in-depth interviews and focus groups with them to better understand the existing problems and explore suggestions. There also had been a survey of all members of the KMA community.

“This will help Mohyla to develop and determine what it wants to be in the future, how the Mohyla community can create better conditions for interaction both within it and with those who want to join our big Kyiv-Mohyla family,” said Maksym Yakovlyev, Director of the School for Policy Analysis.
