Russia’s War on Ukraine: Exposing the Roots, Uncovering the Current Trends, Forecasting the Consequences
🔹The aim is to deepen our understanding of the Russia’s War on Ukraine through multidisciplinary perspectives exploring its historical, political, and cultural roots and impact on global order.
Over the course of 2 weeks we offer in total 11 online meetings, one per day:
▫️Series of 9 lectures with Q&A and discussions on:
▪️Historical Roots of the Russia’s War on Ukraine
▪️Ukraine in the Context of Russian Foreign Policy since the collapse of the Soviet Union
▪️Understanding Ukrainians: Nation Building, Political Milieu, and Civil Society
▪️The Crisis of the Global Security System and the Emergence of a New World Order
▪️Do sanctions work?
▪️War and Human Rights: in the Search for Justice
▪️Art and Culture as Weapon
▪️War and Moral Philosophy and Spirituality
▪️Ukrainian Perspective of the Future
▫️Two panel discussions:
▪️Does the End of the War Mean a New Civic Contract for Ukraine? Discussion with Ukrainian politicians and MPs
▪️Why the War in Ukraine Matters for the ”Global South”? Discussion with international relations experts from different countries.
❗️For participants we offer the option to complete a group project and gain 4 ECTS.

🔹Recent graduates who work in the field of international relations, policy analysis, social science and related.
