🇨🇿 Maksym Yakovlyev, Director of the School for Policy Analysis and head of the Department of International Relations of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and Anton Suslov, Senior Analyst at the School for Policy Analysis, had a work trip to Prague. They held fruitful meetings at Charles University, in particular at the Institute of International Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
During the visit, the team discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation within the Russian Studies programme, as well as broader avenues for academic collaboration. The meetings included constructive discussions with Dr Tomas Nigrin, Director of the Institute of International Studies, Prof. Tomas Weiss, Deputy Director for Research, and Dr Valeriya Korablyova, Head of the Ukraine in a Changing Europe project.
The discussions focused on the prospects for partnership between the Department of International Relations of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the School for Policy Analysis, and Charles University — ranging from Erasmus+ exchanges to potential joint research and educational projects, including those related to the study of Russia.
We are moving towards strengthening Ukrainian–Czech academic cooperation and creating new opportunities for students and researchers 🤝
