Will the Ukraine peace deal work?

Marathon talks in Belarus have secured a deal on a road map to peace in Ukraine's war with pro-Russian separatists after negotiations through the night to halt the escalating bloodshed.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said the agreement includes a ceasefire which will begin on Sunday, special status for rebel regions, provisions on border controls and humanitarian issues.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, on the other hand, says the deal did not include any agreement on autonomy for eastern Ukraine, as Russia has been demanding.

So, will this ceasefire deal hold? And what will it mean for a long-term political settlement in Ukraine?
